Illustrated Mark Cavendish Team GB Art Print
Printed to order in your choice of A3 or A4 size and despatched in 3-5 days.
Mark Cavendish made his Olympic debut on the track at Beijing 2008 but then switched to the road at London 2012, missing out on a medal as the British team were made to do all the work to chase the breakaway group on the home roads of London.
The Isle of Man rider's first Olympic medal came in Rio four years later, where he claimed silver in the men's omnium having switched back to the track.
Widely held as the fastest man on two wheels, he was the 2011 World Road Race Champion and was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours the same year. Cavendish also holds the most Tour de France stage wins by any sprinter, and is second overall, with 30 victories to his name.
Printed on premium photo paper to ensure a perfect representation of the colours, details and textures in these images. All art prints are packaged securely in made-to-fit print tubes, ensuring your new piece will arrive in pristine condition, ready to fit into your frame of choice.
As part of a catalogue of portraits for the Team GB’s 125 year Anniversary, London based artist Richard Clements combines his passions of Sport and Illustration for these portraits of our Olympic Athletes through the years. Using both traditional and digital mediums, these prints capture the athlete’s individual personalities while the classic style and use of iconic Team GB colours unifies them.
