Skateboarding will be one of the five new sports introduced at the Tokyo 2020 games. Two disciplines will be featured at the Olympic games: street style & park style.
The street competition will take place on a street-style course featuring rails, boxes, walls and stairs included for the athletes to grind and trick on/over. The park arena will be in a hollowed out course so spectators get a clearer view of the aerial tricks.
